STEP1
Create your cosplay costumes and items using materials such as recycled articles!

Take pictures and prepare a description of the ecological points
STEP3
Post your recipes for the creation of costumes on Facebook, Twitter or Weibo usign the hashtag #ecocos!
Go to the special Facebook page for submissions in the Costume category from the button below, write an article with pictures of the cosplay costumes and items that you have created and a description of the points you want to appeal, and post it there with the hashtag #ecocos .

Applications are accepted in Japanese, English and Chinese.

There are no restrictions on nationality or age.

Only individual applications are accepted.

There is no limit to the number of applications.

Applicable to cosplayers and cosplay costume makers.

Applicable only to handmade cosplays, made by the applicant.

There are no restrictions concerning the costume created.

Cosplays of characters from Japanese and overseas works and series, as well as original costumes are accepted.

As a condition for the award eligibility, You shall be able to come to Nagoya, Japan, from 1 August 2020 through 2 August 2020, in order to attend the prize-awarding ceremony.(Transportation and accommodation expenses borne by the organization) or participate in an international symposium (June 2020).

In the case of a minor applicant (under 20 years old in Japan, or the age of majority in the applicant’s country), please apply with the consent of the legal guardian. If a minor applies, it will be deemed that the application has been made with the consent of the guardian.

If the minor applicant is accompanied by a guardian when coming to Japan, the travel and staying expenses of the guardian may not be provided.

Prior notice from the "Nippon Foundation" and the “World Cosplay Summit Executive Committee” that the portrait rights of any media exposure while staying in Japan, and other rights related to the "Cosplay de UMIGOMI ZERO AWARD" belongs to "Nippon Foundation" and "WCS Co., Ltd."
